A new trailer has been released for Alejandro G. Inarritu’s new film “BARDO, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths”.
Daniel Giménez Cacho plays Silverio Gama, a revered Mexican journalist and documentary filmmaker who returns home and is beset by his memories of the past and fears about his future all mingling together with his life in the present.
The film famously had a premiere at the Venice International Film Festival to a mixed reception which resulted in Inarritu cutting nearly half an hour out of that version. The result still clocks in at 152 minutes without credits.
Iñárritu directs from a script he co-wrote with Nicolás Giacobone. The film opens in theaters on November 18th and then streams on Netflix on December 16th.
