Following their successful collaboration on the international release of “Uncut Gems,” Netflix is climbing onboard the next effort of filmmakers Josh and Benny Safdie and actor Adam Sandler.
Currently untitled, the film is said to be set in the world of high-end card collecting. Sandler is attached to star with the Safdies writing, directing and producing.
The plan is to shoot the film in the second quarter of 2023 with the siblings still putting finishing touches on the script.
Sandler has excitedly been talking up the film already during the press tour for his sports dramedy “Hustle” which is also a Netflix original film.
