LaKeith Stanfield (“Atlanta”) and Omar Sy (“Lupin”) are set to star in “The Harder They Fall” director Jeymes Samuel’s new film “The Book of Clarence” at Legendary.
Samuel penned and will direct, produce and compose the original film which is set in 29 A.D. and will feature Stanfield in the title role.
Further plot specifics are under wraps, but Samuel has previously indicated is in the vein of Biblical epics like “The Ten Commandments” and “The Greatest Story Ever Told”.
James Lassiter, Shawn Carter and Tendo Nagenda will produce.
