Disney+ has released the official trailer for the animated feature “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules” based on Jeff Kinney’s second ‘Wimpy Kid’ novel of the same name. The film will release on the service on December 2nd.
The riotous antics of angst-ridden, disaster-prone middle school student Greg Heffley continue, and this time around the focus is on his complicated relationship with his spikey-haired high school older brother Rodrick.
Rodrick is lazy and undisciplined and spends way too much time practising with his rock band, Löded Diper. While he loves to torment Greg, he ultimately has a deep affection for his younger brother.
Luke Cormican helms from a screenplay by Kinney. Brady Noon, Ethan William Childress, Edward Asner, Chris Diamantopoulos, Erica Cerra and Hunter Dillon lend their voices to the project.
