The fifth season of FX’s anthology series “Fargo” has filled out its cast ahead of filming beginning on Monday.
David Rysdahl, Sam Spruell, Jessica Pohly and Nick Gomez will join the already announced Juno Temple, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Lamorne Morris, Joe Keery and Richa Moorjani in the new run.
The story is set in 2019 with the logline being: “When is a kidnapping not a kidnapping, and what if your wife isn’t yours?”
Showrunner and director Noah Hawley says the new season is “particularly comedic” with Temple playing a very capable housewife with a secret.
MGM Television and FX Productions are backing the series which is expected to air sometime next year.
