Comedian Trevor Noah has set Thursday December 8th as his final day hosting Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show”.
The locking down of a date comes shortly after the comedian surprised the world, and his colleagues, after announcing his departure on September 29th.
The series will have a break after his exit and then return on Tuesday January 17th with ViacomCBS saying “additional details” will be forthcoming.
The show will also host a “celebratory look back at his greatest moments” from December 5th, and Noah will also be in Atlanta with the Daily Show crew to cover the midterm elections.
