Paramount+ has unveiled a first-look trailer from the upcoming fifth season of “Star Trek: Discovery” following its debut as part of a New York Comic Con panel on Saturday afternoon.
Sonequa Martin-Green was on hand for the trailer which offered first looks at new characters for the season. Callum Keith Rennie plays a weathered Starfleet captain, Eve Harlow a cunning outlaw and Elias Toufexis as the outlaw’s partner.
Cast members Anthony Rapp and Wilson Cruz were also on hand along with executive producers Michelle Paradise, Alex Kurtzman and Rod Roddenberry.
