Justin Long has been cast as a series regular in the upcoming Disney+ series adaptation of R.L. Stine’s “Goosebumps” book series.
The series follows a group of five high schoolers who unleash supernatural forces upon their town and must all work together — thanks to and in spite of their friendships, rivalries and pasts with each other — in order to save it, learning much about their own parents’ teenage secrets in the process.
Long will play Nathan Bratt – a new schoolteacher who develops a terrifying connection to a decades-old supernatural murder. The series will reportedly be influenced by five of the most popular books in the series.
Nick Stoller and Rob Letterman serve as co-creators and executive producers, while Kevin Murphy is executive producer and showrunner.
