Actress Mckenna Grace is confirmed to be reprising her role of Phoebe Spengler in the upcoming untitled sequel to “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” at Sony Pictures.
Grace herself revealed the news during an interview with ComicBook.com recently to promote Peacock’s dramatized true-crime series “Friend of the Family” in which she stars.
Speaking about ‘Afterlife’, she says she’s “constantly pressuring” director Jason Reitman for more information on the sequel’s story and says: “I literally have no ounce of a clue what the story is, I’m just excited to do a second one. I’m just excited to be Phoebe.”
Sony revealed a sequel to ‘Afterlife’ was in the works back in June with the Spengler family moving to New York City. The “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” sequel is currently targeting a December 2023 release.
