Ubisoft has once again delayed its high seas pirate game “Skull & Bones”. After multiple delays over the years, the game seemed to have finally settled on a firm release this November.
That’s no longer the case as the publisher has now pushed the game again, this time to a March 9th 2023 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna.
In a statement on the game’s Twitter account, the team confirm that development of the title has been finished. However, feedback from recent technical tests has led to them wanting to further balance and polish the game in order to make it “the best experience”.
More tests are also on the way, with an open beta to launch in the ‘near future’. The game will ultimately have been in the works for a decade and six years after it was first revealed at E3 2017.
