Marvel’s Feige Open To Scarlet Witch Return

Despite the events of Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” don’t count Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch character out of the MCU just yet.

Olsen has done six films for the studio (three Avengers, two Captain Americas, one Strange) and the “WandaVision” series, but there have been plenty of fan theories about her potential return down the road.

Now in a feature piece about Olsen in Variety, Marvel Studios’ chief Kevin Feige indicates the MCU is not done with Wanda, saying: “There really is so much more to explore. We still haven’t touched on many of her core storylines from the comics.”

So she survived being crushed by a temple? Feige says: “I don’t know that we saw her under [the] rubble? I saw a tower coming down, and a little red flash. I don’t know what that means.”

Whatever happens, he’ll happily work with Olsen again: “I’d work with Lizzie for another 100 years if we could. Anything’s possible in the multiverse! We’ll have to see.”

For her part, Olsen can’t say anything: “I really, genuinely feel like my job is to keep my mouth shut until he [Feige] makes an announcement of any kind.” She does say she would like to see her character get “some sort of redemption” following the bloodbath she caused in the ‘Strange’ sequel.
