“Don’t Worry Darling” actress KiKi Layne has revealed that the majority of her and her co-star Ari’el Stachel’s scenes in Olivia Wilde’s new film “Don’t Worry Darling” were cut from the movie.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, Layne posted a video and photos of her on-set with Stachel, the pair playing a couple in the idealized and pioneering 1950s desert community of Victory which isn’t quite what it seems. The actions of Layne’s character become the catalyst for Florence Pugh’s Alice to question what’s behind this apparent ‘utopia’.
Layne says in her post: “The best thing about #DontWorryDarling is that I was lucky enough to meet @arielstachel. They cut us from most of the movie, but we thriving in real life. Love you Ari. #GotMyCheck, #GotMyMan and #EverythingHappensforaReason.”
Layne recently wrapped work on “The Old Guard” sequel at Netflix, whilst “Jessica Jones” alum Stachel will soon be seen in the upcoming “Law & Order: Hate Crimes”
