The iconic Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner-led hit “The Bodyguard” is set to return to cinemas in time for its 30th anniversary.
Houston starred as pop icon Rachel Marron who becomes the target of an obsessive stalker sending her disturbing threats. This prompts her to enlist ex-secret service agent Frank Farmer (Kevin Costner) as her bodyguard.
Their relationship quickly becomes complicated as the lines between professionalism and romance blur. The special screenings will take place on November 6th & 9th with tickets going on sale on September 28th at TheBodyguard30.com.
After the film, fans will be treated to a special musical compilation celebrating the legacy of late legend Houston who died in 2012. The re-release comes a few months ahead of the Houston biopic “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” starring Naomi Ackie which arrives December 21st.
