Walt Disney Animation has premiered the full trailer for their sci-fi adventure feature “Strange World”.
Jake Gyllenhaal stars as Searcher Clade – the son of a steadfast explorer. Clade and his motley crew of a family are called on to travel deep into an uncharted and treacherous land where fantastical and ravenous creatures await.
It’s a crucial mission, one threatened to be toppled by familial differences in this throwback to early 20th-century pulp serials that spawned “Doc Savage” and “Flash Gordon”. Dennis Quaid, Jaboukie Young-White, Gabrielle Union and Lucy Liu also lend their voices.
“Raya and the Last Dragon” duo Don Hall and Qui Nguyen co-direct the film which arrives in cinemas on November 23rd.
