As part of its Ubisoft Forward presentation, it has been announced that Netflix and Ubisoft are teaming for a live-action “Assassin’s Creed” TV series.
In addition, Ubisoft will be releasing an “Assassin’s Creed” mobile game exclusively for Netflix subscribers on Android and iOS. Other details relating to the projects haven’t been revealed as yet.
This follows a previous 2016 live-action film adaptation by director Justin Kurzel and starring Michael Fassbender. That film made $240.7 million from a $125 million budget, whilst reception to the series wasn’t good.
The game franchise remains a juggernaut and is one of the highest-selling video game franchises of all time.
