Naughty Dog’s ground-up remake of “The Last of Us” has arrived for PS5, and reviews have fallen along expected lines.
With an 89/100 on Metacritic, the praise is very high for the massive audio-visual overhaul of the title along with its new accessibility features. Almost every review dubs it the definitive way to play the game – especially for newcomers.
Questions in regards to the game’s price tag, value, and overall point, however, aren’t so clearly answered, with very few offering any definitive ‘worth it/not worth it’ judgement calls about the remake.
One thing there isn’t a shortage of though is comparison videos showing the original PS3 version vs. the remaster on PS4 vs. this remake on PS5, which show just how much the game has changed. Check out some below.
