Peacock has officially cancelled its single-camera comedy series “Rutherford Falls” after two seasons on the streamer.
The series followed lifelong best friends, Nathan Rutherford (Ed Helms) and Reagan Wells (Jana Schmieding), who find themselves at a crossroads – quite literally – when their sleepy town gets an unexpected wakeup call.
Michael Greyeyes, Jesse Leigh and Dustin Milligan co-starred. The first ten-episode season aired last year, with an eight-episode second season hitting this past June.
The series, co-created by Sierra Teller Ornelas, scored solid reviews at launch and had multiple Indigenous writers and performers as part of its production team.
