With filming underway on “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley,” more set photos are popping up showing Eddie Murphy returning to one of his most iconic roles.
In the new shots, Murphy can be seen as Detective Axel Foley, who doesn’t appear to have changed his wardrobe in a few decades as his character is sporting a Detroit Lions letterman jacket (and an arm sling).
Actress Taylour Paige can also be seen in the photos. She and Joseph Gordon-Levitt co-star in the new film, which is being directed by Mark Molloy from a screenplay written by Will Beall.
Murphy, Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman, and Melissa Reid produce the film that is being made for Netflix and will likely premiere sometime next year.
