Marvel Studios’ “Spider-Man: No Way Home” returns to cinemas this weekend with the extended cut dubbed ‘The More Fun Stuff Version’ which adds in eleven minutes of new footage taken from the film’s deleted scenes.
A new post on Reddit (found via ComicBook.com) has gone into the various differences and revealed that the film adds in a new post-credits scene, the clip taking place of the “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” teaser trailer attached to the original run.
According to that post, the replacement scene features Betty Brant’s final school news segment before graduation and shows pictures of “the kids’ adventures throughout high school” including the Decathalon from ‘Homecoming’ and the Europe trip from ‘Far From Home’.
However, all of the pictures are conspicuously missing Tom Holland’s Peter Parker following Doctor Strange’s spell leading the world to forget who Peter Parker is – a spell that seems to include removing any form of documentation regarding him.
Sony is set to re-release the film in over 3,850 theaters.
