The Morning Show
“Star Trek: Discovery” and “Army of the Dead” alum Tig Notaro has scored a major recurring role in the third season of “The Morning Show” on the Apple TV+ service.
Notaro will play Amanda Robinson, the chief of staff to corporate titan Paul Marks (Jon Hamm). Nicole Beharie and Julianna Margulies are also onboard in the new season alongside returning regulars. [Source: Deadline]
Quantum Leap
NBC has released the ultra-short first look at its update of the iconic sci-fi series “Quantum Leap”, which is set to arrive on Monday, September 19th. Raymond Lee plays renowned physicist Dr. Ben Seong who in the clip leaps back to 1986 into the body of a female singer of a rock band.
Cobra Kai
Netflix has released a new clip from the fifth season of its smash hit series “Cobra Kai” which is scheduled to make its return on Friday, September 9th. In the clip, Chozen demonstrates the enemy’s controversial fighting style on Daniel. In the season, a ruthless version of Cobra Kai has been formed under the full control of Terry Silver.
The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers
Disney+ has premiered a new trailer for the second season of “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers” ahead of its premiere on September 28th. In the new run, the team makes its way to Epic, a hockey institute run by a hardcore former NHL player (Josh Duhamel).
Star Wars: Andor
Disney+ has released a brand-new poster for its “Star Wars: Andor” series, the one-sheet showing off the main cast of characters both old and new to the franchise, with Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor taking the top spot. “Andor” is set to be released on Disney+ on September 21st.
