Apple TV+ has renewed the British comedy series “Trying” for a fourth season. The news comes just days ahead of the third season finale on Friday.

Untitled Vincent Chin Series
Kogonada (“Columbus,” “After Yang”) will direct, Christopher Radcliff (“The Strange Ones”) will write and Chloe Zhao (“The Rider,” “Nomadland”) will executive produce a limited series about Vincent Chin for Participant.
The project will tell the story of the tragedy of Chinese American engineer’s murder in 1982. It sparked widespread outrage in America and thrust Asian American communities into the limelight and the nation’s raging debates on race. The project is being made with the help of the Chin estate. Poker Face
Clea DuVall, Shane Paul McGhie, Angel Desai, Jasmine Aiyana Garvin and Leslie Silva have joined the cast of Rian Johnson’s ten-episode mystery drama series “Poker Face” at Peacock. Nora Zuckerman and Lilla Zuckerman serve as showrunners and executive producers.

Thai Cave Rescue
Netflix has released the official trailer for the biographical limited drama series “Thai Cave Rescue” about the 2018 rescue mission of a youth soccer team from a flooded cave in Thailand. Jon M. Chu executive produces the series which will be available for streaming on September 22nd.
