HBO has picked up Larry David’s comedy series “Curb Your Enthusiasm” for a twelfth season. The renewal order comes eight months after season eleven aired its last episode. There’s no indication of when production will begin on a new run. [Source: THR]
The Handmaid’s Tale
Hulu has premiered the trailer for the fifth season of its Emmy-winning dystopic sci-fi series “The Handmaid’s Tale” which returns on September 14th.
In the new run, June faces the consequences for killing Commander Waterford while struggling to redefine her identity and purpose. The widowed Serena attempts to raise her profile in Toronto as Gilead’s influence creeps into Canada.
Los Espookyos
A trailer has been released for the second season of HBO’s “Los Espookys”. The new run premieres on September 16th and sees Renaldo and friends handle a new set of challenges. From ghostly pursuits to the demands that come from everyday life, they’re about to experience horror on every level.
Wednesday
Netflix has released a new featurette for “Wednesday,” the mystery-drama series take on “The Addams Family” from filmmaker Tim Burton and “Smallville” creators Miles Millar and Alfred Gough.
The eight-episode series begins with a number of murders plaguing the small town where Wednesday Addams has been sent to Nevermore Academy, a prestigious boarding school for outcasts. The clip focuses on Jenna Ortega starring in the title role.
Atlanta
FX has released the official poster for the fourth and final season of its acclaimed comedy series “Atlanta”. Donald Glover, Lakeith Stanfield, Brian Tyree Henry and Zazie Beetz co-star in the series which returns to the eponymous city after the third season took a European detour.
