Sony Interactive Entertainment has released the launch trailer for “The Last of Us Part I,” the upcoming ground-up remake for PS5 of the original acclaimed 2013 game.
The game’s environments and characters have all undergone major upgrades, with exponentially more detailed character models bringing out more of the original performances.
The art direction has been overhauled to offer better lighting and shadows. Physics and A.I. are majorly improved with far more movable and destructible objects.
New accessibility features and major use of 3D audio and the DualSense controller will also play a key part in the refreshed title that is released next Friday, September 2nd. The clip also reaffirms a PC version is ‘in development’.
