Sony Pictures has announced plans for a theatrical release of an extended version of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” for the Labor Day Weekend holiday.
Titled “Spider-Man: No Way Home – The More Fun Stuff Version,” the new cut will incorporate added and extended scenes to a film that has become the third biggest box office hit ever in the U.S., and sixth internationally.
The extended cut will play in the U.S. and Canada, with more countries to be announced. Tickets will go on sale on August 9th with screenings beginning on September 2nd including premium large formats such as IMAX.
The theatrical cut of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” is currently available on Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, and digital.
