Searchlight Pictures has released a first-look photo of Anya Taylor-Joy and Ralph Fiennes in the Mark Mylod-directed dark comedy “The Menu” along with setting a November 18th release date.
Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult play a couple that travels to a coastal island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises. Hong Chau, Janet McTeer, Judith Light, Reed Birney, Paul Adelstein and John Leguizamo co-star. [Source: The Playlist]
It’s All Coming Back To Me
Sony Screen Gems’ romantic drama “It’s All Coming Back To Me,” formerly titled “Text for You,” has set a February 10th 2023 release date. Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sam Heughan and Dion star in the film penned and directed by Jim Strouse.
The story centers on a woman who, after tragically losing her fiance, starts to send romantic texts to his old cell. Seems the number has been reassigned to a man across town suffering from similar heartbreak. The two meet and feel an undeniable connection and, with the help of Celine Dion’s music, take a chance on love again. [Source: Deadline]
I Love My Dad
Magnolia Pictures has acquired North American rights to James Morosini’s SXSW festival breakout “I Love My Dad” with plans to release the film in theaters August 5th, and on-demand on August 12th.
Morosini plays a young man catfished by his hopelessly estranged father (Patton Oswalt) in a desperate attempt to reconnect. Trouble is, the son falls for this imaginary girl and wants to meet her in person. Claudia Sulewski, Lil Rel Howery, Amy Landecker, Ricky Velez and Rachel Dratch co-star. [Source: Variety]

Top Gun: Maverick
A new featurette is out for “Top Gun: Maverick” and goes into the grueling three-month pilot training module that the film’s cast endured ensuring a high degree of realism for the film.
Tom Cruise himself helped design the training module for some of his co-stars. Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Charles Parnell, Ed Harris and Val Kilmer can also be seen in the film which opens May 27th.
