Christopher Lloyd and “She’s All That” star Rachael Leigh Cook are set to lead “Spirit Halloween,” a family/kids adventure movie based on the costume and prop stores which are in over 1,400 locations across North America.
In the film, a new Spirit Halloween store appears in a deserted strip mall and three middle-school friends who think they’ve outgrown trick-or-treating make a dare to spend Halloween night locked inside it.
They soon find out that the store is haunted by an angry evil spirit who has possessed the creepy animatronic characters, so begins a spooky adventure in order to survive the night.
Strike Back Studios, Hideout Pictures and Particular Crowd are producing the feature which also stars Donavan Colan, Dylan Frankel, Jaiden Smith, Marissa Reyes and Marla Gibbs.
David Poag directs from a script by Billie Bates with filming already wrapped ahead of an October 2022 release. Noor Ahmed and Shannon Houchins produce.
