HBO’s third season finale of media family-dynasty drama/dark comedy “Succession” delivered 1.7 million viewers across all platforms in same-day viewing.

That’s a new series high, up from the 1.4 million viewers across all platforms that tuned into the season premiere and a 47% increase on the second season’s finale.

When including delayed viewing, HBO reports an average of 6.1 million viewers to date for the third season, up 56% on the second.

Over on HBO Max, the “Sex and the City” sequel series “And Just Like That” has seen the streaming service set a new record.

According to the service itself, the show had the best 24-hour series premiere window of any new HBO or HBO Max series since the streaming service launched in May 2020.

The show also reportedly garnered an all-time-high number of “first views” for a new HBO Max series, meaning the series brought brand-new subscribers to the service.

However, no actual numbers have been revealed by the streamer.
