Timed with the end of 2021, the Writers Guild of America (WGA) has released a list of the 101 greatest screenplays of the 21st century (so far) as voted on by members of their west and east branches.
Many major filmmakers make the list including David Fincher, the Coens, Quentin Tarantino, Paul Thomas Anderson, Christopher Nolan, Wes Anderson, Barry Jenkins, Bong Joon Ho, Spike Jonze, Alfonso Cuaron, Tony Gilroy, Sofia Coppola, Charlie Kaufman, Greta Gerwig and Taika Waititi.
