Paramount Pictures has announced that “PAW Patrol: The Movie” is getting a sequel with an October 13th 2023 release date set.
The first film debuted this year both in cinemas and on Paramount+ on the same day, but the sequel will play exclusively in theaters. The film generated $40 million at the domestic box office and $135 million globally and scored surprisingly good reviews.
That’s not all though as Nickelodeon and Spin Master Entertainment have also announced a new television spin-off series focusing on one of the main pups. That will also debut in 2023.
“PAW Patrol: The Movie” director Cal Brunker will return for the follow-up film.
