Following their collaboration on this year’s “The Suicide Squad” and the upcoming “Peacemaker” series,” filmmaker James Gunn is reuniting with WarnerMedia on another DC project.
Gunn, currently prepping to shoot Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” will cross the aisle again for another DC project according to the man himself on Twitter saying: Yes, I’m developing another DC project besides Peacemaker” this week.
What that is remains unclear, as is any indication of if we’ll hear more at the DC Fandome event where Gunn will appear in just under two weeks.
Gunn also teased on Twitter that a famed Marvel character will make the jump from comics to the MCU for the first time in the upcoming “Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special” for the Disney+ service.
The special, which bridges the gap between the second and third “Guardians” films, will see Gunn “introducing one of the greatest MCU characters of all time”. Speculation has understandably risen over the likes of Nova and Adam Warlock but there are no further details as yet.
