Unforgivable
Netflix has premiered the first photo from Nora Fingscheidt’s “The Unforgivable,” its new prison drama film starring and executive produced by Sandra Bullock. The film hits cinemas on November 24th and the streamer on December 10th
The story follows a woman released from a prison into a society that won’t forgive her past and she seeks redemption by searching for the sister she left behind. Vincent D’Onofrio, Jon Bernthal, Richard Thomas and Viola Davis co-star. [Source: Netflix]
Eternals
Chloe Zhao’s new Marvel Studios film “Eternals” has officially been given a PG-13 rating by the MPAA for “fantasy violence and action, some language and brief sexuality”. The Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek-led film is slated for a 45-day exclusive theatrical run from November 5th. [Source: Film Ratings]
Assassin Club
Henry Golding, Noomi Rapace, Sam Neill and Daniela Melchior have joined the cast of Camille Delamarre’s “Assassin Club” which recently wrapped filming in Turin, Italy.
Set in a world of contract killers, Morgan Gaines (Henry Golding) is hired to kill six people around the world but soon discovers all the targets are also assassins unknowingly hired to kill each other. Melchior plays his love interest, Neill his mentor and Rapace his nemesis. [Source: Deadline]
Black Friday
Screen Media has acquired Casey Tebo’s alien invasion holiday horror film “Black Friday” ahead of its world premiere at Fantastic Fest this week. A day-and-date release in November is planned.
Set on the busiest shopping night of the year, a group of disgruntled toy store employees must defend themselves from legions of holiday shoppers when a mysterious alien parasite turns them into monstrous creatures.
