HBO Max is coming to Europe with the streaming platform setting an October 26th launch date in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Spain and Andorra.
Fourteen additional European countries and territories – Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia – will be added early next year.
HBO Max is currently available in the U.S. and thirty-nine territories across Latin America and the Caribbean. However major European markets like the U.K., Germany, Italy and France are likely years from getting the service due to an ongoing licensing agreement with pay TV provider Sky not expiring until 2025.
