It’s official, NBC’s cancelled series “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist” is being revived as a Christmas-themed feature film premiering as an original on the Roku Channel.

Filming will begin on the feature “Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas” in Vancouver this month, with Lionsgate remaining onboard as the studio.

Confirmed cast returnees include Jane Levy, Skylar Astin, Alex Newell, John Clarence Stewart, Andrew Leeds, Alice Lee, Michael Thomas Grant, Kapil Talwalkar, David St. Louis, Mary Steenburgen, Peter Gallagher and Bernadette Peters.

The film will stream for free on the ad-supported Roku Channel in the United States. All 25 episodes of the series will also stream on the Roku Channel in the U.S. later this fall.

Austin Winsberg will write and executive produce while Richard Shepard will direct. Kim Tannenbaum, Eric Tannenbaum, Paul Feig, David Blackman and Daniel Inkeles will serve as executive producers.
