The legendary Udo Kier along with Tommy Martinez and Emily Rudd are set for recurring roles in the second season of Amazon Prime Video’s conspiracy thriller drama series “Hunters” created by David Weil and executive produced by Jordan Peele.

The Night Agent
Netflix has greenlit the thriller series “The Night Agent” based on Matthew Quirk’s best-selling novel. Shawn Ryan (“The Shield,” “SWAT”) is adapting the book and will serve as showrunner.
The ten-episode series centers on a low level FBI agent who works in the basement of the White House and is tasked with manning a phone that never rings – until the night that it does, propelling him into a dangerous conspiracy that leads all the way to the Oval Office. WeCrashed
America Ferrera (“Superstore,” “Ugly Betty”) has been cast in the Apple series “WeCrashed” which tells the story of the greed-filled rise and fall of shared workspace startup WeWork. Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello will co-write, executive produce and serve as showrunners.
Ferrera joins previously announced cast members Jared Leto, Anne Hathaway, and Kyle Marvin in the series based on the Wondery podcast of the same name. Ferrera will play the role of Elishia Kennedy, a brilliant young entrepreneur seduced into joining WeWork whose life is turned upside down as a result. [Source: Variety]
The Chair
Netflix has premiered a trailer for the Sandra Oh-led comedy series “The Chair” which debuts on the service on August 20th. Jay Duplass, Nana Mensah, Ji Yong Lee, Everly Carginilla, Holland Taylor, Bob Balaban, and David Morse co-star with Amanda Peet serving as writer, producer and showrunner.
The “Killing Eve” star plays Dr. Ji-Yoon Kim as she navigates her new role as the Chair of the English Department at prestigious Pembroke University – faced with a unique set of challenges as the first woman to chair the department.
