Black Adam
Dwayne Johnson has posted a black-and-white photo of himself shrouded in a cloak and hood and with a caption indicating this ties to the DC Comics adaptation “Black Adam” in which he starts and which he’s currently working on.
Johnson says his character is not a superhero, but rather a champion… Champion of the people.” The description suggests Johnson’s version will follow Black Adam’s modern origin story. The movie opens in cinemas July 29th 2022. [Source: Instagram]

“The Batman” and “The Lighthouse” star Robert Pattinson has signed an overall first-look production deal with WarnerMedia’s various outlets including Warner Bros. Pictures, New Line Cinema, Warner Bros Television and HBO Max. The deal is for theatrical, SVOD (HBO Max) and WBTV properties and represents the actor’s first foray into producing. [Source: Deadline]

Netflix has confirmed that upcoming fifth and final season of “Money Heist” will be divided into two parts – the first to debut on September 3rd and the second on December 3rd.

Last Night in Soho
A fifteen-second tease of filmmaker Edgar Wright’s new “Repulsion” and “Don’t Look Now”-inspired psychological thriller “Last Night in Soho” has arrived ahead of the first trailer which will launch later this week.
The story finds an aspiring young fashionista suddenly transported to 1960s London where she encounters her idol, a dazzling wannabe singer. But the period is not what it seems. Anya Taylor-Joy (“The Queen’s Gambit”) and Thomasin McKenzie (“Jojo Rabbit”) star.
