Crater
Scott Mescudi (“We Are Who We Are,” “Bill & Ted Face The Music”) will join the ensemble of Kyle Patrick Alvarez’s sci-fi adventure feature “Crater” for the Disney+ service. Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Billy Barratt, Orson Hong, Thomas Boyce and Mckenna Grace also star.
The coming-of-age story follows a boy growing up on a lunar colony who takes a trip to explore a mysterious crater with his four best friends. John Griffin pens while Shawn Levy and Dan Levine will produce and filming begins this Spring. [Source: Deadline]

Juliette Binoche will join Toni Collette, Colin Firth and Rosemarie DeWitt in HBO Max’s eight-episode series adaptation of the true-crime docuseries “The Staircase”.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is set to star in the A24 and BBC Film mother-daughter fairytale feature “Tuesday”. Lola Petticrew will play the daughter named Tuesday. Arinze Kene also stars in the film with plot details under wraps. Daina O. Pusic is directing the project. [Source: Variety]
Dangerous Liasons
Alice Englert and Nicholas Denton have scored the lead roles in a reimagining of Pierre Choderlos de Laclos’ novel “Dangerous Liaisons” at Starz. Deonora Lonsdale will direct the first four episodes while the show is created and written by Harriet Warner.
The origin story follows how the Marquise de Merteuil (Englert) and the Vicomte de Valmont (Denton) meet as young lovers in revolutionary Paris.
