Zatanna
It was announced recently that “Promising Young Woman” writer/director Emerald Fennell would be penning a new “Zatanna” movie for Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Films, but it wasn’t clear if she would direct.
Asked about that possibility, she says it’s still way too early to say: “It’s so exciting. That’s not a conversation that’s happened at all, so I have no insight, and also, we’re still in the early days.” J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions will produce the project. [Source: Variety]
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Actor Ahmed Best, who played Jar Jar Binks in the “Star Wars” prequels, has confirmed he will not be participating in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series on the Disney+ service.
Responding to a fan on social media, he said: “”Thanks for the love, but I will not be in this series. As much as I would’ve loved to be a part of it. But I’m ecstatic to see folks who I love dearly back together doing great things.” [Source: Heat Vision]
