Following in the wake of the Superbowl TV spot yesterday, some more details and photos from the ninth “Fast & Furious” movie have gone online.
The film’s director Justin Lin has posted a video of one of the film’s big physics-defying stunts which was surprisingly done practically – a car flipped sideways crashing through a building and into a truck on the other side which was pulling it with a massive magnet.
The scene was the big moment of last night’s TV spot, though one plenty mistook for being a pure CG shot when it was done for real (albeit with some digital enhancement). In addition, several new photos from a range of scenes in the film are out.
“F9” is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on May 28th.
One 4 second shot in #F9. 8 months of prep. 4 days of production. 3 cars destroyed. Work from over a hundred of the most dedicated and talented crew. Best job in the world! pic.twitter.com/QK4wNYvAhE
