Warner Responds To Ray Fisher Exit
Warner Bros. Pictures

Actor Ray Fisher’s ongoing battle with WarnerMedia continues as the actor has posted a lengthy statement about his exit from “The Flash” while WarnerMedia has swiftly responded to that post.

Fisher’s latest tweet statement confirms he is officially out of “The Flash” and that Cyborg’s role in the film was “much larger than a cameo” as had been reported.

He then says he is okay with being removed from the film because his battle with DC Films boss Walter Hamada is “a much more important contribution to the world.”

Fisher explains his issues with Hamada, alleging he believes that Hamada made a “purposeful attempt to undermine the Justice League investigation” and did so to protect his friend and former co-president, Geoff Johns.

In the wake of the published complaint, WarnerMedia CEO Ann Sarnoff has stated to THR in which she fully backs Hamada and doesn’t believe Fisher’s accusations:

“I believe in Walter Hamada and that he did not impede or interfere in the investigation. Furthermore, I have full confidence in the investigation’s process and findings. Walter is a well-respected leader, known by his colleagues, peers, and me as a man of great character and integrity. “

Also, a spokesperson tells Deadline: “An extensive investigation was conducted by an outside law firm, led by a former federal judge who has assured WarnerMedia that there were no impediments to the investigation.”

Since last July, Fisher has had issues with WarnerMedia and has been making numerous statements on social media without either proof or details regarding the original claims. On the flip side, the concluded investigation has also revealed no specifics regarding accusations or findings, saying only that it is concluded and “remedial action has been taken.”
