The North Water
The first photos are out from the anticipated mini-series adaptation of Ian McGuire’s novel “The North Water” which hails from celebrated “Weekend” and “45 Years” writer/director Andrew Haigh.

Colin Farrell, Jack O’Connell, Stephen Graham, Tom Courtenay, and Peter Mullan star in the story of a killer on board a whaling expedition in the Arctic in a show that shot closer to the North Pole than pretty much any other show production has done. [Source: Twitter]

Belfast
Focus Features has acquired worldwide distribution rights to Kenneth Branagh’s coming of age drama “Belfast” with plans for a 2021 release. Dame Judi Dench, Ciaran Hinds, Jamie Dornan, Caitriona Balfe and newcomer Jude Hill co-star. The semi-autobiographical tale, which Branagh dubs his most personal film to date, tells the story of one boy’s childhood during the tumult of the late 1960s. [Source: Focus]

Jackass 4
Just two days into filming on the fourth “Jackass” film, stars Johnny Knoxville (49) and Steve-O (46) have reportedly already been hospitalized with injuries. Filming has stalled after the leads were injured in a stunt that reportedly involving them jumping on a full-speed treadmill with band equipment (including a tuba). Filmmaker James Cameron has offered two more behind-the-scenes photos from the New Zealand set of his long-in-development “Avatar” sequels. The production is going into a holiday hiatus with the first of the planned four sequels arriving December 22nd.
