More Big Names Join “Invincible” Series

Four months after the initial cast list was announced, a further batch of big names have been added to Amazon’s upcoming adult animated TV series adaptation of “Invincible,” the acclaimed 2003 comic series by Robert Kirkman (“The Walking Dead”).

The series follows a normal teenage high school student named Mark Grayson. who has just one difference between him and his peers – his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, and he, too, will inherit his own set of super powers.

During CCXP’s Worlds event in Sao Palo, Brazil, Amazon revealed the additional voice talent coming to the series. This new batch includes:

Mahershala Ali (“Moonlight,” “Green Book”) as Titan
Clancy Brown (“Carnivale,” “Highlander”) as Damien Darkblood
Nicole Byer (“Nailed It,” “Bad Hair”) as Vanessa and Fiona
Jeffrey Donovan (“Burn Notice,” “Sicario”) as Machine Head
Jonathan Groff (“Hamilton,” “Mindhunter”) as Rick Sheridan

The eight-episode first season is expected to debut on the streaming service in 2021 is said to boast a tone akin to HBO Max’s “Harley Quinn”.
