Paramount+ has premiered the teaser trailer for the second season of “Dexter: Resurrection,” which returns on October 30th.
In addition, new photos have gone online over at EW showcasing the appearances of Gabriel Luna and Dan Stevens in the new run, along with returnee Krysten Ritter.
The second season kicks off three years after the events of the first season of ‘Resurrection’, with Dexter’s son Harrison (Jack Alcott) having turned 21 and enlisting to become an NYPD cop.
Meanwhile Dexter (Michael C. Hall) is hitting middle age and simultaneously dealing with two serial killers – Lucas Stark/The Five Borough Killer (Dan Stevens), Don Framt/The New York Ripper (Brian Cox) and Ray Ballad/The Sleepy-Eyed Strangler (Gabriel Luna).
Additionally, Ritter’s Mia LaPierre/Lady Vengeance is seemingly back from the dead, though it’s not clear how. Uma Thurman, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Desmond Harrington, and James Remar also return from the first season.
Bokeem Woodbine and Nona Parker Johnson mark new additions for the second season. Showrunner Clyde Phillips executive produces the series.
