HBO Max has officially handed out a ten-episode series order for Greg Berlanti’s new DC series “Green Lantern” to be written by Seth Grahame-Smith (“The LEGO Batman Movie”) and “Arrow” co-creator Marc Guggenheim.
The series will take place across a span of several decades and depict the adventures of multiple Lanterns, including Guy Gardner, Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz, and the first Green Lantern himself Alan Scott who, true to the comics, is gay.
The series will also include fan favorite characters such as Sinestro and Kilowog, and introduce new heroes to the ranks of the Green Lantern Corps. Grahame-Smith serves as showrunner while Greg Berlanti (“Doom Patrol,” “Titans,” “The Flash”) executive produces.
