Martin Lawrence and Snoop Dogg are teaming to lead the political drama series “Game” which is set in Washington, DC and is executive produced by Lawrence’s “Bad Boys” cohort Jerry Bruckheimer.
The series revolves around lifelong best friends Bobby and Dice (Lawrence, Dogg) who are running a high stakes game of personal favors and political intrigue in the nation’s capital.
The pair along with Patrick Aison (“Treadstone,” “Wayward Pines”) penned the scripts from a story he crafted with the two stars and all three will executive produce. Dogg & Lawrence recently starred together in “The Beach Bum”.
CBS TV Studios and Bruckheimer’s company are backing the project. Snoop and Martha Stewart have recently been co-hosting the cooking/lifestyle show “Martha And Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party” for three seasons on VH1.
