Lionsgate CEO John Feltheimer has announced that two more sequels in the “John Wick” franchise are on the way and will be shot back-to-back.
Keanu Reeves returns as the famed former hitman who can never seem to catch a break. Reeves is expected to shoot the films when he becomes available early next year.
Feltheimer says they’re currently busy preparing scripts for the next two installments with the fourth to arrive Memorial Day weekend 2022 with aim of the back-to-back shoots.
The three previous films have grossed $584.2 million for the studio and plans are still underway for a spin-off series titled “The Continental”. Reeves is currently shooting a fourth “The Matrix” film.
