Netflix Sets “Lucifer” S5, “Cobra Kai” S1-2 Dates

Netflix has released the poster and have announced an August 21st premiere date for the first part of the fifth season of “Lucifer”.

The series has been renewed for a sixth season which hasn’t yet begun production. The fifth season’s second part is expected to arrive before year’s end. Golden Globe nominee Dennis Haysbert joins the cast of the new season in the role of God.

The streamer has also revealed that the existing two seasons of “Cobra Kai” will both hit the service on August 28th. Netflix has picked up the rights to the series from YouTube Premium and will broadcast a third season at a date that has yet to be announced.

Then comes the news that “Avatar: The Last Airbender” sequel series “The Legend of Korra” will be making its way to the platform on August 14th.

Finally, the service has announced that the film “Sorta Like a Rock Star” has received the new title “All Together Now”. That film is based on “Silver Linings Playbook” author Matthew Quick’s young adult novel and will also release on August 28th.
