The Changeling
Finnish director Anders Engstrom (“Taboo,” “See”) will helm the remake of 1980 supernatural thriller “The Changeling” for producer Joel B. Michaels and Cornerstone Films. Uwe Schott and Stefan Arndt also produce.

The story follows a musician who, after the death of his young daughter, returns to his childhood home. After a series of terrifying events, he begins to unlock the mystery of the dead child that haunts his home along with a terrible family secret. This Is Chance
Ol Parker (“Imagine Me & You,” “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again”) is set to write and direct the film adaptation of Jon Mooallem’s new book “This Is Chance” for Concordia Studios. Mooallem will executive produce.

The story follows Genie Chance, a part-time radio reporter who became famous for the role she played during the famous 9.2 earthquake in Anchorage back in 1964. Genie helped her town stay together and emerged as a legendary figure at home and in America. [Source: Deadline]

The Bride
Jessica M. Thompson (“The Light of the Moon”) has been set to helm the horror thriller “The Bride” for Screen Gems. Emile Gladstone will produce. Blair Butler penned the original script which will follow the story of a young woman who attends a lavish destination wedding, unaware of the horrors that await. Thompson will revise said script. Laura Hasn’t Slept
Paramount Pictures will turn Parker Finn’s horror short “Laura Hasn’t Slept” into a theatrical feature. Finn will pen and direct for Temple Hill. Caitlin Stacey stars as a young woman desperate to rid herself of a recurring nightmare. She seeks help from her therapist to confront the terror. [Source: Deadline]
