New Trailers: “7500,” “Wasp Network,” “Dirt Music”

Two dramatic features delayed from last year, though not before screening at festivals, have released new trailers today ahead of direct-to-SVOD premieres of both on June 19th.

Amazon has released a trailer for the Joseph Gordon-Levitt starring thriller “7500”. Oscar-nominated director Patrick Vollrath helms the project which is set almost entirely inside a plane cockpit.

Gordon-Levitt plays a young American co-pilot on a flight from Berlin to Paris. Shortly after take-off, terrorists storm it and wounds both pilots. Time is running out for this ordinary man to save his passengers.

Another trailer today is for “Carlos” and “Personal Shopper” director Olivier Assayas’ “Wasp Network” which will be released via Netflix. Based on a true story, that film follows Cuban spies infiltrate exile groups in the 1990s to stop terrorism against the island.

Their efforts came at a high personal cost in this film which stars the likes of Penelope Cruz, Edgar Ramirez, Ana De Armas, Gael Garcia Bernal and Wagner Moura.

Finally and separately there’s also the trailer for Gregor Jordan’s film adaptation of “Dirt Music” which goes direct-to-VOD on July 17th.

Kelly Macdonald and Garrett Hedlund star in the story of a musician with a tragic past that falls in love with a woman stuck in a loveless relationship. Secrets are soon uncovered that will change their lives.
