Following its first season on DC Universe, “Doom Patrol” made the jump to HBO Max for that service’s launch and will now be premiering its second season on both services simultaneously.
The most acclaimed of DCU’s three live-action originals (the others being “Titans” and “Swamp Thing”), ‘Doom’ returns with three new episodes on June 25th and will pick up the storyline of Niles Caulder’s 11-year-old daughter being a threat to the world.
Brendan Fraser, Matt Boomer, Timothy Dalton, Diane Guerrero, April Bowlby and Joivan Wade return for the new episodes though it’s not clear how many there will be for the new season (the first had 15).
