Paramount Pictures has delayed the release of the Tom Clancy adaptation “Without Remorse” by two weeks. Originally slated for this September, it will now open October 2nd.
Michael B. Jordan stars as John Clark, a young Navy SEAL who goes on the path to avenge his girlfriend’s murder at the hands of a Baltimore drug lord – only to find himself inside a larger conspiracy.
Clark will go to work for the CIA by the end and in the books serves as a ‘darker half’ ally of Clancy’s most famous character Jack Ryan. Willem Dafoe and Liev Schrieber have both played the Clark character onscreen before.
“Sicario: Day of the Soldado” director Stefano Sollima and writer Taylor Sheridan re-team for this adaptation which also stars Jamie Bell, Jodie Turner-Scott, Luke Mitchell, Todd Lasance and Jacob Scipio.
Paramount also announced that it’s pushing the fourth “Jackass” movie back four months from March 5th 2021 to July 2nd 2021.
